A year ago, I hosted a Virtual Gratitude Journaling Group:
Towards the end of October, a friend suggested I do another round this year. Then life happened, I didn’t get my act together, and here we are already at the end of the first week of November.
But ya’ll. This week has me whipped. The results of the election has brought so much pain. Fear. Anger. Disgust. Shame. Sadness. Loneliness. The list of emotions goes on and on.
The world we are living in is a scary place. I have no idea what the next few months will hold. And that terrifies me. But I believe in a both-and world. I believe that we can acknowledge the good things in our life and also hold space for our fear, our anger, and our pain.
So I’m resurrecting the Gratitude Journaling for this month - even though we’re a few days late in getting started. Being grateful won’t take away the fear, but maybe it will help us feel a little more connected and loved.
Prompts will be shared in a Private Facebook Group or you can signup here to receive prompts in your email each day. Just choose “Gratitude Journaling.” I hope you’ll join me!
Until next time,
So glad you’re doing this again!! And here’s to holding the tension of both/and.
