I loved Covenant of Water - I adore an epic story like that one. This summer, I also read Miranda July's All Fours - it rocked me so hard that I could barely get through anything else - its themes (not necessarily the graphic specifics of the story!) keep popping up for me over and over - must be middle-age. I also read The Paris Novel by Ruth Reichl (love her) - which was lovely. I have Demon Copperhead waiting patiently for me - once the kids are back in school, I think I'll dive in.

Ooooh Demon Copperhead is on my shelf too. I should pick it up soon. And yes, I'll read anything by Ruth Reichl - did you read Save Me the Plums??
I'm looking up All Fours right now!
The red tent is one of my all time favs!!
yes, me too!!
I flew through The Wedding People and Summer Romance in the last few days. Loved them both!
Those are both on my hold list at the library! I feel like it's going to be next summer before I get them ....
